Rett Syndrome

Rett syndrome is a complex neurological disorder, affecting mainly girls. Although signs of Rett syndrome may not be initially obvious, it is present at birth and becomes more evident during the second year. People with Rett syndrome are profoundly and multiply disabled and totally dependent on others for their needs throughout their lives. We will not go deep into describing Rett Syndrome in English as there is enough information online or in the books about the issue. We aim to provide a more detailed information about Rett Syndrome in Lithuanian on the website, to make it more readily available for families and specialists.
